August 5, 1977... the day that I say the first sunshine... Around lunch if I can remember correctly ;-)
I was raised in Peer and moved to Leuven when I was 20-something. Now I live in Scherpenheuvel, a quiet little town, approx. 20 minutes from Brussels.
I went to school in Overpelt (KA) for accounting-ict and later on in Genk (Khlim) for photography. During these years I also took courses during the evening, related to photography or wine and f&b.
On May 8, 2008 my life changed completely, because at 12h01 my son, Miró joined the Belgians :-)

Another miracle on March 17, 2011 when our family was completed with our daughter Ziva!

 

Professional

On April 1, 1999 I started working for Center Parcs (Erperheide). During the 5 years I stayed with them, my job was to manage the day to day operations of the F&B outlets as a teamleader (later on they called it floormanager).
June 2004: a small step for mankind, but a big one for me! I left Center Parcs and moved to the trendy Astrid Park Plaza hotel in Antwerp. First as a conference & sales executive and later on as IT & Internal control.
2006: changed my position to the headoffice, as support engineer ICT Benelux, Germany & Hungary for Park Plaza Hotels.
2008: one hotel of the Park Plaza chain decides to become part of the Rezidor group and they convinced me to join them... As from now, I'n the ICT manager for Radisson SAS Astrid Antwerp, Park Inn Astrid Anwerp. Besides these 2 properties I'm also acting as ICT manager for B-Apart hotels in Brussels.
August 2009: time for a change... I left Astridplaza (Radisson Blu Astrid Antwerp & B-Apart) and joined S-bit Hospitality Services as ICT consultant and supervisor for Belgium.
